Low lying property including the Cothi Bridge Hotel at Pontargothi and Dolybont at Pontynyswen
River levels are rising. Flooding to property is expected. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is ongoing. The River Cothi at Felin Mynachdy gauge is expected to peak between 11pm on Wednesday 17th December and 04:00 am on Thursday 18th December. Further heavy rain is expected on Thursday 18th December which may cause river levels to rise again. We will continue to monitor the situation. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
