Rivers in south Pembrokeshire
A period of adverse weather is affecting this region. River Levels have responded to recent rainfall and remain above normal levels. Flooding of Low-lying land and roads is expected. Due to restrictions at the tidal outfall, river levels in the River Ritec in the Salterns area of Tenby are likely to remain high for a number of days. You may notice river levels rising slightly as each high tide arrives. We will continue to monitor the situation. You can monitor the situation in your area by using our 'River Levels, Rainfall and Sea Data' on our website. For more information on our Flood Alerts and how we issue them, please visit the ‘How we forecast floods, issue warnings and assess flood risk’ page on our website.
