Rivers in the Tawe catchment south of the M4 motorway including the Nant Y Fendrod
Storm Christoph has brought rainfall to the catchment overnight and conditions remain very unsettled through today, Wednesday 20th January. Rain will continue throughout the day and river levels will remain high as they respond to this rainfall. The combination of ground conditions, existing river levels and forecast rainfall quantities gives a high risk of flooding of low-lying land for the next 24 hours.
