River Severn in the Criggion Area

The River Severn including isolated properties along Back Lane, Cross Road, the B4393, and parts of Crew Green
River levels are rising. Flooding to property is expected. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is ongoing. Impacts are ongoing. The B4393 at the Llandrinio Bridge and a number of minor roads in the area could be affected by flooding. The A483 south of Arddleen, the B4393 at the Llandrinio Bridge and minor roads in the area could be affected by flooding. The A483 at Poolquay, the A483 south of Arddleen and the B4393 at Llandrinio Bridge and a number of minor roads in the area could be affected by flooding. The River Severn in the Criggion Area at the Llandrinio gauge is expected to rise until approximately 3am Sunday 16th November. The heaviest rainfall has now cleared this area. We will continue to monitor the situation. Technical river level forecast information for those who use it; a peak level between 6.8m and 7.0m is possible overnight. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
